October Sales Boost

Figures compiled by the Society of Motor manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show an unexpected rise in new car sales for October. Year on year sales rose by 2.6 pc with 134944 new registrations. The increase was seven per cent ahead of SMMT forecasts for the period.
