Sebastian Vettel stormed to victory in yesterday’s European Grand Prix prompting his closest rivals in the chase for the 2011 championship to all but admit defeat this year. Concern over the pace of the Red Bull cars led Lewis Hamilton to say “in the sense of the title it’s finished really”. Hamilton’s team mate Jenson Button expressed concern that the gap between the Red Bull cars and his Mclaren could be even greater at the next Grand Prix race, Silverstone.
